Celebrating Five Years of Community Connections at Community Day

Tennessee Members 1st Federal Credit Union invites the community to its 5th Annual Community Day on

Wednesday, November 4, from 11 am to 1 pm at its Oak Ridge Branch. The free public event brings together local nonprofit organizations, credit union members, and community residents for an opportunity to connect, learn, and celebrate the work happening throughout East Tennessee.

First held in 2021, Community Day has become an annual opportunity for TN Members 1st to highlight its Community Partners and introduce residents to organizations addressing important needs across the region.

"As a credit union, our commitment to the community extends well beyond financial services," said Richelle Ballenger, Vice President of Member Experience at TN Members 1st FCU. "I've been part of Community Day since our first event in 2021, and it's been rewarding to see the connections that come from bringing people together. We have the privilege of working alongside incredible organizations doing important work every day, and this event gives us an opportunity to share that work with the community."

This year's event will feature representatives from local nonprofit organizations, along with information about the credit union's Community Giving Grants program. Attendees can also enjoy cookies from Ham 'N Goodys, giveaways, and opportunities to win door prizes.

Community Day is part of TN Members 1st’s ongoing Commitment to Community initiative, which emphasizes building relationships with local nonprofits and supporting organizations that contribute to the well-being of East Tennessee residents.
