October 9 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Stop by our Oak Ridge branch anytime between 10:00 am and 12:00 pm on Monday, October 9 to visit with representatives from CASA of the TN Heartland. CASA stands for Court Appointed Special Advocates, who are trained to represent the best interests of children in juvenile abuse and neglect court cases. CASA is a local, nonprofit organization in communities all across the nation. The core purpose of CASA of the Tennessee Heartland is to provide a voice for abused and neglected children in our community. As a non-profit, volunteer-based agency, our mission is to empower CASA volunteers to advocate on behalf of abused and neglected children in juvenile court.

CASA is a Community Partner of Tennessee Members 1st FCU. We’re thankful to partner with various community organizations to spread the ‘People Helping People’ mission outside of our branch walls and throughout the areas we serve by focusing on education, engagement, and growth. This event is coordinated as an opportunity for our Community Partners to engage with our members and educate them on involvement opportunities available throughout the counties served by the credit union and our Community Partners. The views, opinions, mission, and initiatives expressed, performed, or pursued by Community Partners are those of the Community Partner and do not necessarily reflect the official policy or position of Tennessee Members 1st Federal Credit Union.
